Got up at 5:30 this morning ... went to bed at 3:00 ... I suppose I should be thankful I got any sleep at all ... I have a feeling a morning nap is going to be in order today ...
Not much new. Trying to get ready for the holidays before they actually get here ... I'm nearly there ... I got what I could on line and now I have my list of places I need to go to finish off the shopping ... I'd like to think I'd get it done before Thanksgiving ... let's hope this next week is productive ... it's already busy with appts and such, so who's to say? That will leave the next week ...
Mom on Halloween. Doesn't she look great? She's wearing Alex's bondage pants and skull shirt ... the wig kills me but makes the outfit ... her own short straight blonde hair just would not have completed the look quite as well ...
She continues to be sick most of the time ... she sees the oncologist on Friday ... hopefully we'll have some kind of answers and directions from that ... cuz it's really startin' to get scary ...
School continues to be liked very much ... whew! ... she continues to do well and immerse herself in the experience ... I should have a progress report waiting for me at the mail box ... I monitor her homework, so I already know she's pulling good grades =o) she makes her mama proud ...
She's having her birthday party on New Years Eve and combining the events into one big party ... Auntie Aimee is hosting...whoo hoo!!
They'll all be inviting friends, so who knows how many teenagers will descend on Aimee's home ... good thing that family room is the size of a small apt ... I'm sure they'll have a great time ... I can't believe she's 15 this year ...
After days of rain and the worry nearly killing her, Sue opened the hatch to look under the house yesterday and praise God, it was dry!! There was still a lot of water pooling in the bark ... but under the house was dry ... and that was the big test! So, the drains seem to be working ...
Thanksgiving finds us at Aimee's place ... she's got the mostest room ... and the pool table!
We ordered a smoked turkey from Dicks in Grand Mound ... then Aimee and I will make the sides and such ... some nice sturdy disposable dishes and viola ... the less stress T-day ...
I really think this year I'm going to need a Christmas tree that can sit on the bar ... I do not have room for tree ...
... and to be perfectly honest with you ... I'm not sure this little shit-head can be trusted with a Christmas tree ... I've never worried about the cats and Christmas trees in the past .. but Boogie gives me cause for concern ... he's got a little bad kitty in him ... he's crazy wild ... runner, jumper, climber extrordinaire ... all the time ... of course by Christmas he'll be able to go outside so maybe it would be ok then ... he gets neutered on Thurs ... that gets him outside by December ...
Well, looks like that morning nappie is gonna happen for me ... I'm so excited ... I hope sleep happens ... mebbe I'll score two more hours ... that should carry me to the wee hours of the morning ... I really need a more normal sleeping pattern/schedule ... well, who's to say this isn't normal? It's certainly normal for me ...
Remember when voting:
"Stay the course"
just means
"More of the same"
I can't believe you don't trust your little boogie-cat! he's cute and darling, and I'm quite sure he wouldn't harm a needle on your xmas tree.
Why do you not love the boogie? ;-)

Boogie would NEVER think about touching a Christmas tree, would he? LOL!!!
I like the voting reminder. Seems that's what they were thinking when they named Manning division director, 'eh?
