I love the cat in my head ...
So another year passes and a new one begins ... Lord in heaven, I hope this one bares no resemblance to the last one!
2006 went out with a big-ass bang. Nothing but trauma and drama right up until about 9pm on New Years Eve ...
Mom's health continues to decline with no answers as to what's going on. She's not able to work even part time now ... She's seen the docs in Seattle at the Cancer Care Alliance ... she should be hearing from them soon. She meets with her oncologist here in town today, hoping that he's had contact with the docs in Seattle and they've conferred on her case ...
I finally got my appeal hearing on Jan 8. My attorney seemed quite sure I'd get a favorable decision ... just more hurry up and wait ... decisions are issued in writing by the judge, not at the hearing ... well, sometimes, the judge will do it at the hearing, but apparently not the judge I got ... whatever, I've been waiting over 2 yrs ... what's a few more months right?
The car accident settlement should be coming in sometime in the very near future as well ... it will be nice to be able to pay everything off ...
Daniel has a fantastic new blog set - up ... Do NOT miss Tsiatko his photo blog ... stunning photos he's captured on his many wanderings thru this beautiful part of the world ...
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow ... we ended up with about 2 -3 inches in this last "storm" ... the snow is over and now the big freeze has come in ... so everything is a solid sheet of ice ... skies are bright blue and the sun is shinin' for all she's worth ... and it's so cold you can almost feel your bones snap when you step into it ... bbbrrr ... I don't like cold ... snow, I'm ok with ... love it ... but I don't like to be cold!
It's beautiful out there, I wish my camera batteries weren't dead ...
Christmas pics are still on the camera too ....
Christmas was nice, we were all at Aimee's ... the kids had a good time ... dinner was yummy ... mom did pretty good, she got a nap in and that helped ...
Everyone seemed to get a little something they needed, could/would use and wanted ...
I hope you had a great holiday season and the new year is good to you!

Hey, thanks for the mention!
