Well, mom was finally diagnosed with Epithelioid Hemangioendothelioma , we know of several spots where the tumors are in her bones, but we also know there's a tumor in her left lung. The cancer is so rare there is very little known of it and treatment is a guessing game usually consisting of chemo and/or radiation. We should be hearing next week which direction the doctors are going to start her treatment. We are inclined to think they'll start her off with chemo since they are talking about treating her entire body. She continues to get sicker and the pain never stops, nor does the medication provide her much relief anymore. She's lost at least 100 lbs and hardly eats anything. We are all desperately hoping that the chemo will halt the growth of the tumor(s) and give her much needed pain relief, even in time being well enough to return to work.
Sue got home from 10 days vacation in Hawaii and promptly got the flu, missing most of this week of work and feeling like death ... not a great way to come off a much needed vacation. Tiffini had had the crap the week before and missed 3 days of school. It knocked her down and out ... pretty nasty stuff!!
School has been out this week for mid-winter break. So Tiff and Meg have been together pretty much non-stop. I think they are enjoying being able to be together all the time again. They were in trouble most of January and February, but they seem to be working it out and doin' what they're supposed to be doin' ... they're damn lucky they have the parents they do ... but God help them if they lose their ridiculous minds and pull that bullshit again ... something tells me Tiff learned her lesson when I made her switch schools ... she's never been so happy to go back to her school ... and it all seems to be working out fine now ... time will tell I suppose ...
My car has already died ... I would very much like to douse it with gasoline and have a big fkn fire ... but I doubt that will happen ... I suppose I'll try to sell it for a couple hundred as a parts car ... or maybe someone out there who wants to do the work it needs done ... I've already sunk enough money into it ... no more ...
The car accident finally settled, my attorney told me on Friday. Hopefully they will be quick about cutting the check ... tho, Mega Millions is up to $216 million and I fully intend to win that pot ...
March is a big birthday month here ... Meg, Aimee, Sue and Daniel ... all before the 20th ...
I am so ready for spring/summer. I'm sick to death of being fkn cold. Daniel and I caught a cool, albeit short, hail storm the other day ...
If you feel so inclined, you should check Lucinda Williams new album, West ... it is my new favorite album and have listened to it everyday for the last week ... I love it ... you will too!
